Our Data Literacy and Management service helps individuals and institutions to use data, by making it easier for them to understand it, question it, and manage it responsibly.
In an era where decisions are increasingly data-driven, we offer training, consulting, and support in the fundamentals of data literacy, data governance, open data practices, and research data management tailored to African contexts.
Our work equips schools, universities, government agencies, and civil society with the skills to collect, store, analyse, and interpret data in ways that are ethical, inclusive, and transparent. From designing data collection tools to building metadata standards and promoting FAIR data principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), we empower users to treat data not just as a technical asset, but as a public good.
For African schools, institutions, and policymakers, data literacy is essential for evidence-based decisions, equitable policies, and accountable governance.
